A glimpse of the waterfall
In 2010 Baobab travelled to the northen part of Ethiopia. We met a bunch of wonderful, entrepenurial people and visited among other places the Simien montains, having our main base in Debark.
Now we are very happy to hear that Meles Yemata, one of our friends there, has created WalksEthiopia.com , a venture to impulse Reponsible Travel in the area, which boasts incredible beauty, both in Nature and in the People who live there.

Michelle Hooper says: Ethopia what an amazing country and people. In January 2011 i had two amazing weeks in the Simien Mountains, it was truly breath taking. My guide was Meles Yemata, who is very knowledgable about the whole area and wildlife. I would use him again. There was 15 in our group, (although he also does much smaller groups) and Meles guided us( with great ease) and all our belongs all the way through the entire Mountain range. He has an extensive network of very good men who all work very hard for him and you, too ensure you have a great time. You can trust and rely on them 100%. Oh and they never stop smiling.
