Javier Leandro Sobradillo

What Javier likes most is to travel and learn new languages, along with everything having to do with startups. After finishing his degree in Computer Science in Spain, he went to London in search of a job and since then he has lived in Paris, Edinburgh and now Berlin.

He has been collaborating for three years with the Banesto Foundation on the Sustainable and Responsible Tourism project and during this time has travelled with Ander Pomposo to Namibia, Botswana and Ethiopia, where the idea of starting up the Baobab Guides initiative was born.

Ander Pomposo

Also known as “The man who can communicate any other human being in the planet”, Ander is a natural born communicator. Thanks to his job as corporate manager in the Banesto Bank, in 2008 he joined the group of volunteers in the Sustainable and Responsible Tourism project, to which he invited Javier (They had travelled together through more than 30 countries, always in an independent way).

His education in business and administration by the University of Deusto and his experience working in Banesto give him a focused business oriented perspective, vital for the project.

Pierrick Jacob

Pierrick is passionate about Africa and travelling. He has lived in Spain, Scotland and Australia, spent time volunteering in Morocco and worked in the French embassy in Burkina Faso, being in charge of the press review and communications. With a degree and Masters in Political Science, he leans more toward humanities, providing balance to the team.
