The Art Performance Center (APC) is an organisation that provides artistic education to more than 230 children across Namibia. They’ve got three schools. The APC was founded in 1993 in Otshikuku. Later on the schools in Omagalanga in 2001 and Tsumeb in 2003 were created. The objective of the APC is to improve the quality of life of these children through art, specially music. The facilities were built with the donation of the Lenten Foundation and the costs are financed by donors and the sales of items they produce themselves.

Currently they offer education programs in Music (piano, oboe, marimba, flute …) and painting.

How can you help?
The best way of getting to know the APC and help them is to attend one of their concerts. Their offer concerts in Tsumeb every first and third Saturday of the month between 18:00 and 20:00. It is also possible to visit the school and maybe arrange a concert by contacting in advance the director and founder Lis Hidber.
