N//Goabaca is a beautiful restcamp, with the high standard of quality that is always present in the projects that have been sponsored by the Namibian organisation Nacobta. Its privileged location just by the Okavango river allows the visitors to enjoy a view of the Popa Falls. They are also accessible on foot from the Camp itself. There are several camping sites, ablution blocks and braais for barbeques. We we visited it, one of the camping sites had been destroyed by a massive fallen tree after a big storm.

Even if you are not spending a night here, it is still worth a stop to see the Popa Falls. They can be accessed through the campsite for a small fee. These are not the biggest falls in the world, but a beautiful sight nevertheless. You can also see the local fishermen with their boats in the river try to get the catch of the day. These Falls are an important point for the river, because the powerful Okavango takes a turn here and heads south from Namibia into Botswana, to create later the Okavango Delta.
